Livelyzens are the proud and happy residents of Google Lively. Today we are saddened by Google's decision to shutdown lively.
We are appealing through this blog and our website http://www.livelyzens.com/ to keep Lively alive and will showcase all the great things about lively and why Google MUST revisit their decision.
Please pass on this message as emails or comments to blogspots talking about the Google Lively shutdown:
The Livelyzens (Lively users) are coming together to appeal to Google to keep Lively alive.
Lively is a great platform for interaction as well as creativity. It is easy to use, browser based, embeddable on webpages to bring a 3D experience right on your website. While Lively has been in beta and has limited capability in terms of the objects and avatars available, the Livelyzens have been able to come up with very creative ways to create art from what is available. All this in a "clean" 3D world thanks to Google's vigilance in getting rid of rooms with inappropriate content. More than anything, Lively has become a place to make friends for life – from all over the world with wonderful people.

We request netizens to support us in reviving a wonderful 3D world that is a kid friendly and a creative space for art and interaction amongst adults.

I will be willing to pay a subscription price.
I have learned many new PC skills in order to make rooms more fun and interesting for the many dear friends (from many time zones) who have patiently helped me.
Lively is the most marvellous "toy", with which to create spaces of Beauty, Adventure , and also nostalgia
I have experienced more love, laughter and sharing in these few months than in the whole previous year in "reality"!
I am troubled by the fact that so many talented members have freely devoted countless hours and all their collaborative talents on an enterprise for ultimately....what?....nothing?
Could you not have announced at the beginning that Lively was just a test run?....or...was it? was this some sudden snap decision?n
i agree subscription is not too much to ask for what lively can offer
Solum Deus will be having a photo shoot this week and would like all interested avatars to show up between the following hours:
Tuesday, November 25: 8 am to 11 am EST/1 pm to 4 pm UTC/GMT
Thursday, November 27: 2 pm to 5 pm EST/7pm to 10 pm UTC/GMT
at the following room:

Since only one avatar at a time can be in the shooting room. Solum will bounce back and forth inviting people for their shoot. It should take fewer than 5 minutes per person. Please everyone have the clothes and avatar that you want to be photographed ready to go prior to the shoot. Please post any question here.
Peace and Love,
beetle
I also agree that a subscription price would not be to much to ask for. We all enjoy Lively so much and are willing to do anything to keep it going! I myself and all of my wonderful new friends have put so much time and art into our rooms and would hate to just end this with having to take pictures of all of it. That just really doesn't make any sense. We have too much into them. And we love comming on everyday to meet up with our fellow Livelyzens! ~Jessikah
You know that world where you need $$, the one where most people are
"strangers"?
That one....where you cannot walk under water, turn somersaults in
the clouds, leap from high places?
And you know that thing some people say "There are no
strangers!....only friends you have not yet met"
Well, I have been finding that in THAT world, I am far more tolerant
and "smiley" than for some long time:
why?
because anyone might be a Livelyzen hiding behind that emotional
armor we seem to wear.
And if not already Livelyzens...if ONLY they could be!
Then again, everyone is somebody's child...I hate the way that world
stifles our innocence...BUT! it's STILL THERE!
I have grown younger every day of these 4 months: Thank you
Friends :)
